For as long as I can remember sports have played a significant role in my life. Growing up in a sports family, ESPN was always on TV and football games were a family affair. my first love of sports came as a fan in the stands of my favorite team - the Texas Longhorns. Darrell K. Royal Texas Memorial Stadium will always hold a special place in my heart as the place I fell in love with sports and the place I got to start covering sports. The campus I got to call home as a student at the University of Texas at Austin, where my sports media journey started. While Football holds an immense place in my heart, Volleyball will always be my second love, a game I fell in love with as an athlete for close to 10 years. 

Being immersed in the sports world has been a dream of mine and I am so lucky to have been able to pursue that as a student and even after.  As a storyteller my goal is to share my passion and knowledge of sports through the content I create. My dream of working in sports is not done yet, it has only just begun and I hope to continue to work in this industry that inspires my lifelong passion.
